patchwork butterfly

My last card for the Chocolate Baroque colour challenge 35 - a shame that it has to end, but hopefully bowing out with a record number of entries!
I used a bubble stencil on a 7" square of white card , spomging distress oxide inks through - worn lipstick, broken china, broken pistachio and forever amber. The butterfly was stamped using black versafine ink so that I  had the antenna already in place.
I brushed mica powders in purple, blue and green over the stamp before covering it with silver soft form relief paste ( out of stock at the moment, link goes to black colour  version) and leaving it to dry completely - at least 24 hours. Once dry, i peeled it off, and trimmed the edges before mounting it over the stamped image.
The same inks were sponged round the edges of a 7.5" square of white card to give a rainbow effect.

You're not imaging things, i deleted the original post by accident!
