playdate20

I had to decorate a box for my WI meeting this week - decided to use the Playdate colour theme, as it fitted nicely with the colours on the Artylicious decadent brocade CD..........the box originally held cheese, and I covered it in the green paper, then added distress ink round the edges -(peeled paint) and round a glimmer mist swirl stencil. The flowers were stamped on scraps of paper ((mostly from the same cd)  from the poppy collage plate from Elusive Images, assembled with brads. The leaves were cut from another sheet of paper, with the edges rubbed with peeled paint again

  1. This is gorgeous Veronica. I love that colour theme which seems very popular at the moment. I love all the layered flowers too (one of my favourite things to do as you probably know).

  11. Beautiful layered flower! How nice to see something three dimensional decorated so glamorously. I might just have a cheese box in my recycling bag. Better rescue it now!
