stampbord pendants

These are two pendants that i made a while ago. The one on the left has an image from flora & fauna, that on the right from wild meadow. they were both coloured with pigment inks before stamping with black versafine.

The backs were covered with embossing powders in chinese red and denim, blue. The same poppy image was deep embossed in gold for the red one, and a butterfly embossed in silver for the blue one.

I don't like to leave the backs brown, as I don't think it looks good when the pendant twists when it is worn

  2. Hi Veronica, Hope I've found the right blog, but if not, I see you have Stampbord bits! I'm fair taken with this new (to me) form of surface on which to stamp/emboss. Only today I was wondering how to cover the brown back for the very same reasons you did! How spooky is that?! Love the designs you've done on the Stampbord and your cards are lovely too. About digital art - the only time I get close to that is cropping a photo, or working with crafting CDs. I will take a look at the site you suggested some time soon - kinda pressured to get THOSE cards done over the next few days. Thanks again :)
