quick cards

A few quick cards today, showing some of the samples from the last Chocolate Baroque show on Hochanda.
The first card is a 6" square white blank card, stamped with the buddha image from tranquility in dark brown ink, with the colour dragged out with a wet paintbrush to give shading. The bulrushes were coloured with pencils .
I sponged peeled paint distress ink through a bamboo stencil along both sides, making sure I didn't go over the image.
You could add a sentiment as I have on the second version, which took a fair bit longer as it was coloured with watercolour pencils and a waterbrush and I masked out the image with drawing gum.

The last two both used offcuts of card that had been coloured with Brusho powders.
The first was a 5"x7" card using the outlined grasses image from eastern grasses  simply stamped in blackversafine ink and clear embossed at the bottom of the piece of green card. A thin black mat round the trimmed  image was all that was needed.

Last one was very quick, just five spare pieces of brushoed card cut into squares. Four toning pieces gluedobto an 8" square white card blank, sentiment also from artistic affirmations stamped onto last piece in black versafine ink, edged with the same ink direct from the pad, mounted onto a square of white card and glued in the centre.
