dragonfly dreams

two samples to share today using the dragonfly image from fragile wings by Chocolate Baroque.

 The first was a set of coasters created from grey board circles, painted with white gesso and then sponged with distress oxide inks.

The dragonfly was stamped using black versafine ink, and once the ink was dry the coaster was sealed using modge podge adhesive.

My second is a candle, this time using the whole stamp stamped onto the smooth side of white tissue paper using black verafine ink.

It was painted on the rougher side using shimmer watercolour paints, then brushed round with water and carefully torn out. Heat sealed onto the candle to finish.
