cosmos

I finally got round to mounting and cutting out some stamps i bought In January from Artisan Designs - in my defence, I ran out of cling mount until last week........

Anyway, these are  the first results using the cosmos stamp

This one is very pink, not a colour I normally use  but it worked with the technique. The stamp was inked using distress marker pens, sprayed lightly with water and stamped onto white card. Stamp was dried off and inked in smoky grey versafine and stamped again over the top - I did use a stamping platform to get the stamps matching!

Woprn lipstick distress ink sponged round the edges, and a darker pink mat. The background was mopped up worn lipstick and peeled paint distress inks from a craft mat, then the cosmos part stamped using the worn lipstick again and another dark pink mat.

Sentiment is from Chocolate Baroque, stamped using picked raspberry distress oxide and clear embossed,.

Second card is very CAS, using same technique but this time in shades of blue directly onto a card blank.

Sentiment again from Chocolate Baroque, this time from the new set called life is so much better, which has some lovely ones
