seaside playday

Saturday was a very windy and wet day, but it was bright and cheerful indoors at Costessey, where only 8 of us made it to the Hobby Art day with Moira Walters.
We used the new seaside stamps, shore scenes and waters edge and I had a lovely time playing - only two  of these actually bear any resemblance to what i was supposed to be doing.......this first one is one of them, though i skipped the scalloped edges and frame on the centre circle.....I did use the cloud and water stencils though....
went a bit overboard with the shading on the far dune here... I used Koh-i-noor watercolour paints and derwent inktense pencils to colour all the images

The final card used the frog from garden of wonders, with the hanging vines from a Chocolate Baroque set, wisteria lane.
