Colour challenge this time was to use red/russet, orange, green and grey - like a lot of people, the first 3 colours shouted poppy at me!
Easel card, base card and poppy 'stop' are die cut.
Stamp is from the pretty poppies set, stamped with black versafine and clear embossed onto a brusho background, then coloured with a mix of karisma and spectrum noir pencils.
Am hoping I may get another entry done before the deadline
I do love the effects you get with your Brusho backgrounds Veronica. I find 'subtle' very difficult with them and do like them but I'm sure you know I'm more into muted colours normally. Although I think I saw your gorgeous card on FB before I made my entry I only just realised that we both picked the same image to use for this challenge, lol! Quite a coincidence really when I think of all the CB poppy images I went through before deciding ;D.

A beautiful card Vronnie, Poppies are my favourite flowers, as you and probably the whole world know, lol! I love your subtle brusho background, and the poppy die cut stop is fab. Thanks for your entry into the Chocolate Baroque challenge, Judith xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Vronnie. Love how you have used the poppy at the front to echo the stamped poppies. Apologies for late commenting.
ReplyDeleteThank you for playing along with the Chocolate Baroque Color Challenge.
