I love the Mackintosh stamps and sentiments, and had great fun playing with them, as did everyone else on the DT!
The lovely lady from Mackintosh beauty was stamped first using a blue inkpad, then masked with masking tissue. the background was created using the now-traditional torn paper for the landscape and a moon mask in the sky, with the castle from fantasy castles. The grasses are from the baroque meadow single stamp, and the trees use a stamp from silhouette  grasses. The lady was coloured with watercolour pencils.








My second card just used the lady on her own, again coloured with pencils, this time with a distress oxide inked background.The base card was randomly stamped with two of the single rose stamps using the same distress oxide inks.

quick cards

 Sharing two very quick cards today, as we all need them in a hurry sometimes.......

The first one uses my favourite brusho powders and the baroque meadow stamp, and I used a spare piece of card rthat had already been coloured  with red, yellow and turquoise powders - if you start from scratch, you would obviously have to let the brushos dry before stamping, so it would take longer, but I am sure that we all have some spare pieces of card left over from other projects!

I stamped the meadow stamp using black versafine ink, then trimmed it down. The base card is 5"x7", and the black matt is
4.5"x6.5", with the greeting from words to dazzle and sparkle stamped in the bottom corner with versamark and white embossed.

The second one is even simpler - and is stamped straight onto a white card blank. The water irises from kingfisher song were stmaped using black versafine ink, then coloured with watercolour pencils before stamping the greeting from words to dazzle and sparkle at the bottom corner.
If it goes wrong, just cut out the images and matt them onto another card blank, no-one will ever know your card didn't start out that way!

 Sharing two ideas using stamps from the one-day special tv show recently.
Both cards use a brusho background and stamps from the silhouette grasses set of stamps.
I used the brushos slightly differently this time, sprinkling onto a mat using two greens and turquoise before spritzing with water and then laying card down onto the mat.
  The first card used the original print using watercolour card, the second used a later print from the same powders onto stamping card, obviously much lighter. For the central panel I mopped up the colour at the end, so even lighter.
I stamped one grass using the brusho mix, picking the colour up from the mat which gave a blotchy print, and added another grass coloured with waterbased marker pens in the gaps. The central image of a third grass was stamped using black archival ink.
The panels were matted onto a dark green card, then onto a white 5"x7" base card.

The second version used one stamp on the background, inked with marker pens. the main image this time is from the baroque meadow stamp. This time the matts are black and copper for the centre panel and copper for the background, so truer to the colours.
I had fun doing these, but ended up with a bad case of green hands!
